First and foremost, I am a Native Alaskan of Iñupiaq descent. I lived there until I was twelve, when my mom decided to move us to Illinois so she could go to law school. Thus, I remained here as an Illinois resident to finish my schooling and I plan to eventually head home to Alaska, where I can take photos of the lands and people I love.
