Chameleon's mane has the scientific name Bronchocela jubata Duméril & Bibron, 1837. In other languages, known as the chameleon (Jkt., Jw.), londok or chameleon (Sd.), or green crested lizards (Ingg.). Other names in English quite misleading: bloodsuckers, because in reality these lizards never suck blood. Chameleon is spread in the islands of Java, Borneo, Bali, Singkep, Sulawesi, Karakelang, Salibabu islands, and the Philippines.
